Birchtree’s students took a fantastic journey to Neverland during their school prom on June 10th. Students enjoyed posing for portraits, processing in a Grand Promenade, dancing in the school gym, singing karaoke, having their faces painted, and exploring sensory bins. We also crowned a Prom King and Queen who had been elected by their classmates. Students chose a Peter Pan theme this year and created cakes and decor for the occasion.
Several students and staff wore Neverland-themed costumes, while others donned festive attire. Generous family and staff members contributed delicious food and spectacular decorations. Special thanks to Ken Phillips Photography for taking our prom portraits and many other photos, to Kim Drelick for additional photography and decorations, to Andrea Glynn for offering face painting inspired by the Lost Boys, to Birchtree alum Charlie for providing lighting, and to all the staff and families who helped make our prom a success. We’re delighted that several Birchtree families and some recent Birchtree graduates were able to join us for the festivities!
