Center-Based Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)

The Board Certified Behavior Analyst position helps oversee the clinical program in Applied Behavior Analysis in Birchtree’s center-based program. Responsibilities include: supervision, training and evaluation of direct instruction staff; design, implementation and monitoring of skill acquisition and reduction programs with a focus on positive programming for specific students; ensuring the overall clinical integrity of curricular decisions; training parents and other family members as needed; helping to develop, implement and evaluate IEPs; and other activities as directed by the Executive Director.

Qualifications: Qualified candidates must have a graduate degree in Behavior Analysis and must be BCBA certified.  Must have a minimum of 4 years of clinical experience and professional training with children and youth with autism.  We are looking for someone with proven supervisory skills, and the ability to work cooperatively with a team.  The ideal candidate would have previous leadership and training experience.

To perform essential functions of the job, must be physically capable of standing, stretching, bending, walking, running, and lifting/transporting a minimum of 70 lbs. Must be capable of moving and thinking quickly under stressful situations and able to function in a fast-paced environment.
