There is no cover charge, but contributions will be asked. The band is donating its performance so that The Birchtree Center will receive 100 percent of donations from the event.
Free reserved parking is available for Statey patrons directly across the street from the restaurant. Statey, formerly the State Street Saloon, offers a full bar and dining menu and has been actively supporting local causes for more than 35 years.
The Blue Note Big Band, with music director Eric Andrews, performs the great big bands’ most popular songs, including classics from the repertory of Duke Ellington, Count Basie, Woody Herman, Benny Goodman, Stan Kenton, Buddy Rich, Maynard Ferguson and other iconic big bands from the Swing Era and today. The group performs throughout the New Hampshire Seacoast, southern Maine, and the North Shore of Massachusetts, including past concerts at the Prescott Park Arts Festival, at Jonathan’s Ogunquit, for the Ogunquit Playhouse, and at numerous community concerts and dances.

All proceeds benefit Birchtree’s educational and therapeutic programs for children and youth with autism and their families.
The Regatta Room is just 2.5 miles off of Route 95 and 11 minutes from downtown Portsmouth. Plenty of free parking is available onsite!
