Your “spring cleaning” can make a difference to local students with autism!
The nonprofit Birchtree Center gets a cash donation for every pound of clean, gently used clothing and small household goods you donate to Birchtree during our drive.
Here’s where you can deliver your contribution:
- The Birchtree Center: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm, April 30 through May 7. If you’ll need help unloading items from your vehicle, please call ahead (603-433-4192).
- Birchtree’s Fundraising Night at The Texas Roadhouse in Newington: 3:30-9:30pm, April 30.
- Birchtree’s Dining for a Cause Event at Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub in Dover: 5:00-8:00m, May 2.
Donations of small household items are welcome, but Birchtree receives the largest contribution per pound for “soft goods” such as clothing, shoes, bedding, towels, hats, mittens, scarves, socks, ties, handbags, wallets, backpacks, bags, belts, and jewelry. Thanks for your support!
Funds go to Birchtree’s Student Support Fund, which underwrites admission-free autism programs and hands-on learning for Birchtree students at school and in the community.
When you show this voucher at Texas Roadhouse Newington on April 30th from 3:30-9:30 pm, 10% of your purchase will go to support the nonprofit Birchtree Center’s autism programs. Come enjoy hand-cut steaks, fall-off-the-bone ribs, made-from-scratch sides, fresh-baked bread, and more–and help local students with autism and their families at the same time! It’s a delicious way to commemorate Autism Awareness Month.
