Thank you to everyone who made donations to Birchtree’s Student Support Fund this spring! Donors like you help underwrite supplies such as shaving cream, so that our students can enjoy shaving-cream “ice skating” in the our school gym. This was one of several fun indoor activities our students enjoyed during a (very rainy!) spring.
Our generous donors also help fund ingredients for student cooking projects. On May 17, students cooked and shared a tasty meal of mac & cheese and pulled pork.
Friends like you also help underwrite supplies for The Nook, Birchtree’s student-run school store. Birchtree’s students work as store clerks and cashiers at The Nook as part of their vocational training. Proceeds from the store go to support students’ training in vocational and independent-living skills.
